API Key Setup in Autotask For JoomConnect

The following instructions are provided to set up the needed API User for the integration of JoomConnect with your Autotask.

Setup API User 

Autotask Instructions: Adding or Editing an API User 

Fill out all required fields. 

Go into Autotask and go to Admin > Account Settings & User

Hover over the New button > select New API User

Complete all required fields.

Click Generate Key: Add the generated Username (key) to the setup sheet

Click Generate Secret: Add the generated Password (Secret) to the setup sheet

Input the default Date, Time and Number Format to the setup sheet NOTE: It is important they are entered as they are set for the API User
